About the Speaker & The workshop

Documenting Indian Weddings(Sincerely) is an endeavour undertaken by Salim Khan to impart honest and sincere knowledge on how to cover Indian Weddings. Amidst the air of "Candid Photography", misunderstandings are at an all time high. What is a Candid Photograph? How does a Documentary Photograph stand out by itself?

Many questions need to be answered, especially in today's time, where the entire photography community is undergoing a paradigm shift. Hence the initiative to impart what would be the next big thing.

About the Speaker: Salim Khan has been an active Documentary Photographer for the last 6 years, having the pedigree of work experience with publications such as Lonely Planet, Hello, he has travelled extensively across India creating and Documenting various sentiments of every place.

Salim Khan brought his Documentary Photography work ethics into Weddings and began Documenting Indian weddings 3 years ago. As it stands, Salim Khan is one of only 60 Fearless Photographers in India out of active 5 lac photographers.

Achieving the feat of Fearless Photographer has been 3 year long struggle, as only the most elites and sincere artists are inducted in the Fearless Community wordwide. After having gained enormous knowledge in the realtime world scenario, he now wishes to impart that knowledge onto everyone who wants to become a professional photographer. Let alone just Wedding Photographer!

One can expect to learn extensively in two days of 18 hour long rigorous workshop. It is focussed on amateurs who are just beginning their journey in photography as well as professionals who have been in the field for the last several years.

This is a non-profit initiative, money charged is kept at nominal, covering the cost of various arrangements and hosting necessary to hold the two day workshop.
